It Started With Goodbye by Christina June Tatum also spends a lot of time trying to connect with her friend (the one who assisted in committing the crime), who has been shipped off to a boarding school. It sounds like such a sweet summer story (and I’ve been in the mood for these right now! Most of the time, I might get some sort of resolution but it isn’t fully realized.
