Write. I recently finished Canadian law school and recommended this to anyone I know who was recently admitted. Would probably be better read a short way into 1L, rather than beforehand - many of the examples and suggestions assume a working background of some concepts and topics that very few 0Ls will have any idea of. The first thing I noticed when the book arrived was how poorly bound it was. Learn the fundamentals of day trading, how it is different from other styles of trading and investment, and the strategies that traders use every day. Read it again before your exams in each of the first two semesters. I really a. I didn't get a ton out of this book, but what I did get was good.

The authors do a solid job of presenting their own experience as well as the stories of groups that have been successful in enacting even very small changes, and tracking the underlying strategies and values that made those successes possible.
There are nuggets of wisdom in this book that I found useful, especially that it's useful to reflect on the underlying "rules" of a given system that give rise to the nature of the phenomena within that system.
