I feel both amps are spongy though and have found my tone by adding a Fortin 33 boost on the front end while running channel 2 on both of these amps. channel is absolutely brilliant! I feel anyone would be very happy with this amp. There are times when nothing less than a half stack will do when playing certain styles of music live. I even compared my Metal Muff distortion pedal with the red channel and the red channel has so much more gain, which impressed me a lot. Thank you Justin and Sweetwater!! This amp can do it all. The post gain is on 3.5 and it's shaking my doors, shelves, windows, snare wires lol, and it's addicting. In some settings, I preferred the clean colors from the EVH.
