Seats are comfortable, location is good and building construction is above average. The Cobb theater could use some serious upgrades. Always such a welcoming experience ! The kids wanted a refill on popcorn and guess what it got spilled on me AGAIN. The seats and seating areas inside the theater was clean. During the movie, the subtitles looked really bad. The cashiers are in an enclosed, air-conditioned booth so there's an air pressure differential which means when they had you back your change your money will go flying! Hotels near (PIE) St. Petersburg Intl Airport, Harry Hopman/Saddlebrook International Tennis, Game & Entertainment Centers in Wesley Chapel. The only negative I can think of is that sometimes the popcorn servers skip over people who have been waiting longer than others. I did munch off the kids popcorn. No one at the cashier to check out. Fandango helps you go back to the movies with confidence and peace of mind.
This theater is pretty nice, I just wish it wasn't extremely dark when you walk in before the movie even coming on. The prices for popcorn and soda are outrageous as to be expected.

First movie I ever saw there this weekend, Insurgent... Not good! Just moved to Lakeland and I live merely a 10 minute drive from the Cobb theatre. Movie was great but experience SUCKED!

Bottom line: this theater requires a substantial upgrade and better management/leadership. Theater smelled like an old stale hotel room. If you are new to the area which my family and I am. I have had multiple issues at this theater including bad sound and a blown bulb.
Carpet in theater rooms is almost always dirty and sometimes stinks, they need to replace carpet. The rest room was extremely dirty with shit stands and piss all over them. See all 3 questions for Cobb Theatres Lakeside 18 & IMAX. Adult ticket was $13.00 on fandango!

In the theater the floors are sticky, popcorn all over the floor. They do a great job of keeping it clean.

I do feel this place could do better if they got better staff. The bathrooms don't have toilet liners which I think every public bathroom should have. Saw a movie yesterday. Not only is it a great theater but there's so many shops and restaurants in the plaza it's in! The costumer service could be a bit better honestly, sometimes they just don't seem happy to be there.
