Tickets are super cheap compared to other major cinemas.The foyer has wonderful views over Brisbane CBD which is amazing.They have this movie pass you can buy which makes tickets really cheap and you get invited to special events.Chairs in the foyer need replacing but the cinema itself has very comfortable and roomy seats. I love that Palace Barracks plays host to a number of different film festivals during the year, and also has some special limited screenings for National Theatre/Opera productions. Forget the frozen Coke, popcorn has a new best friend!Other facets that will appeal to the more mature movie watcher are the fact that they screen not just standard Hollywood fare but also participate in international film festivals and give coverage to more art-house film.

It is, hands down, the best thing I've ever subscribed to, but I am a bit of a filmie, let's admit it. There is not much to complain about this place, it is clean, has comfortable seats and offers a nice selection of films. Comfortable seats, rarely.
