I wasn't carrying much in the way of expectations...into the evening - I'm going to the movies; those places are hit or miss. food was just bad. To finish, just double check your bill at the end.

Never got 1 item I ordered and found 3 extra items on my bill at the end. Now the food was a shining star here for us. Visiting Carmel for my husband’s birthday weekend and stopped by Flix to see Terminator movie. We will not return unless we eat before arriving. Went to the movie to relax and we were sold tickets to sit in rolling office chairs at a countertop. To compound our disagreeable experience, our waiter - who was perfunctorily polite, but seemed harried - tag teamed us with three other servers during the course of our meal/movie. The food and service were, We went with our family of 5 to try out something different and left very impressed.

I enjoyed the Octoberfest (just tapped that day) and was pleased to see they have a number of beer options (seems like about 8 of their brews right now and many other "usual suspects" you can also buy - and wine and I think margaritas). They messed up our orders multiple times when ordered during the movie and dropped off multiple items we never ordered, which I then had to send back. I saw a group of ~middle school kids that was there, 1 couple, and a few mother/daughter-types. I liked that a lot. I could have stayed home and watched a movie at my. I do so enjoy being lectured on how I should make my server's job easier when I'm spending over $100 on what is essentially bar food. My husband ordered a supreme pizza, ate one slice, deemed it gross, and did not finish it.
For dessert we got a pretzel that was stuffed with Cream Cheese and then dipped in cinnamon and served with a side of some sort of raspberry sauce that was awesome.
The place looked nice and the seats were great, the movie experience was great.
You can also show up early and hit the bar. Horrible experience. However, everything was very good with my visit. My wife could not see the pad well enough in the dark to write her request legibly. First time, will definitely be going back. We have visited similar establishments in Texas, however the food was much better. Then I missed parts the end of Endgame trying to sort out the bill.

Unfortunately for Flix, I own both 16 and 20 ounce pub glasses at home, and having handled and washed them for years, I know visually which is which. This is almost a “no fail” entertainment night out... go back to the basics of cold...beer and hot food!More, Last year I went and said I would never be back.... unfortunately, I did not take my own advise.... food is mediocre... most people seem to go in order to drink.....
