Frascati is a Mediterranean style bistro, located in one of San Francisco’s most desirable neighborhoods – Russian Hill. Servers were so rushed and a bit pushy. There will be 10 of us. John and Rebeccca are lovely. Service was wonderful and fast, the ambiance is quaint but not very private since the place is small. We will definitely be back! I don't know either. If I recall, the corkage was reasonable. I hate this place because it took me two hours to find parking in Russian Hill, on a cold, rainy day, at that. Tasty desserts and they leave an exquisite flavor in your mouth! Everything was perfect. I went to Frascati about 5 years ago and at the time it was a 5 star restaurant. I had the porkchop and it was all I hoped it would be. I had my birthday there with eight people: there was no "mandatory" (typical) tip for a large party. The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive (just the right amount). The prices were appropriate for fine dining but not overly expensive. When a guest walks through the door of Frascati, he or she is initially treated to a friendly and comfortable dining room. We live in the East Bay and make the trip to SF fairly regularly to eat at this amazing restaurant. Food a bit above average. The consistency took me by surprise but it was delicious. I have lived in the neighborhood for almost 20 years and for all of those years I kept telling myself I needed to go there.
