Booking seats right at the front is problematic as you are too close to see the full screen which is expansive. Seating Horrendous! Based on IMAX experience only- the seats were comfortable and soft, arm rest had padding as well, which was nice. You can see they are film geeks, compared to your staff who you can see clearly is doing it for the pay. They crammed in as many rows as they could making this more of a budget airline experience than the special occasion you would expect at £20 a pop.What's worst though are the queues in the "refreshments area" with staff not making the least bit of effort to serve the long queues efficiently. )Alcohol is permitted too !yay! It pretty much is the most epic place you can watch bar iMax. The main attraction is the big IMAX auditorium.
They claim that every ticket, no matter the time or day, is £9.95 and that was case for our 22:40 showing on a Saturday night. The original theatre building was demolished in 1927, and in 1928 the Empire Cinema opened on the site. Watched 007 here and impressed with the sound and screen performance just like any other iMax cinema. You even have lotion in the toilets!The seating inside your cinemas is super comfy and reclining to make my movie experience better.
