The Clapham Picturehouse is one of my favourite cinemas in London for seeing a film. It's particularly good here because they generally choose the bigger screen (more space between crying babies and for stretching out), reclining seats (helpful for nursing sleepy baby) and they have cup holders (a must I've discovered if you don't want your coffee to immediately pour all over the floor whilst holding your child). It was freezing and everyone was cold but usually people like to be freezing in summer so we did not say anything and kept watching the movie.Second time in winter.

Theres a bar where you can take alcoholic drinks into the screen room, Reclining seats are standard and not incorporated into ticket price and the service is great. Not only that, they were rude and condescending in their correspondence, bordering on belligerent. Our prom was left in one of the empty cinemas downstairs. It felt like a blizzard and I had to have my hood up and had to keep rubbing life back into my legs the entire movie! I very rarely go to the cinema, but this was a good experience. Visited tonight to see ‘The Last Tree’, great film and wonderful cinema, great treats, drinks and... The armrests have drinks holders and the cinema is usually fairly clean. We were able to take three seats by the aisle and the car seat fitted nicely on the seat between us. ZERO sense of customer service.

After putting up with 140 minutes of only half being able to hear a film whilst in the ladies room afterwards, the lights were completely turned off! The air conditioning unit was also extremely loud and just to the side of where I was sitting. I thought: it will be fine, it is December and the air conditiong will be on a warm setting... it wasn't! I have been noticing this in recent visits. When I complained about this to the Duty Manager I was told that "this was Clapham on a weekend".
